Tiki Hut with sunken kitchen

We built an authentic 20 foot round tiki hut with a 5 foot thatched cupola in a customers backyard beside their lake. The poles were made from Florida native cypress hewn to a smooth blond finish. The thatched roof was made from fresh Florida palm fronds individually attached to create shelter from the rain and tropical sun.

A tropical tiki hut bar shifts people into a party/vacation mode and the good times begin. Tiki huts (“grass huts”) often are found on tropical resorts in vacation islands. Today, more and more people are finding they can create this tropical paradise in their own back yard for year around enjoyment. The tiki huts provide a great addition to any poolside venue creating a distinctive, island-type atmosphere without leaving home.
